What TotImages does
TotImages covers the everyday image jobs. It converts photos and graphics between formats: HEIC, AVIF, WebP, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and SVG in, and JPG, PNG, WebP or ICO out, with HEIC also to PDF. You can convert a whole batch at once and download the results one by one or as a ZIP.
It also resizes images without changing their format, and it prepares images for printing: at the exact size you set in centimetres, at the classic 10 × 15 cm photo size, at A3 tiled over two A4 sheets, or as a multi-page poster with overlap and cutting guides. The print tools create the PDF on your device.
How it is different
Most online image converters send your file to a server. TotImages does the work in your browser with open-source libraries, so the photo stays on your computer or phone. There is no account to create, no daily quota and no payment plan, and the site has no analytics, ads or trackers.
The server only receives the normal requests needed to load the website and may log connection data such as the IP address. It does not receive your images or their file names.
What it does not do
TotImages does not keep metadata, HDR or animations: an animated GIF becomes a still image. Converting to PDF makes one PDF per image, not a combined document. There is no AI upscaling and no background removal.
Very large images and very large batches depend on the memory of your device, because everything runs locally. If a conversion fails, try a smaller batch in an updated browser.
Who is behind it
TotImages is a personal project by Siddharta Navarro Castellar, an AI consultant in Catalonia. One person builds and maintains it. It is a sister project to TotPDF, a set of PDF tools, and to minusculasmayusculas.com, a Spanish case converter. The code is public on GitHub.
