Check it yourself
Do not take our privacy claims on faith: you can see them with your own eyes in two minutes.
1. Watch the Network tab
Open any TotImages tool and press F12 (or fn+F12 on some laptops). If you prefer the mouse: right-click the page and choose «Inspect». In the panel that opens, go to the «Network» tab. Now convert an image while watching the list: no request carries your file anywhere. Once the page has loaded, conversion generates no traffic. The only extra download you may see, the first time you convert a HEIC file, is the decoder, served from this same site.
2. The browser would block it
TotImages sends a security header (Content-Security-Policy) that forbids the page from connecting to anywhere except this same domain. Even if someone managed to slip malicious code into the page, your browser would refuse to send your image to an external server: it does not rely on our good will, but on a rule the browser enforces. Scripts, too, can only load from this site: there is no analytics and no third-party scripts.
3. The wifi test
The quickest check needs no developer tools. Open a tool, convert a first image while online (so the browser has downloaded everything it needs), then disconnect the wifi. Convert as many images as you like with no internet: everything keeps working because the conversion runs on your device. If it works offline, your images cannot be on any server.
